"Estar nas aldeias de Xisto já era uma realização de um desejo enorme, aquele lugar resumo em ser mágico. Consegui descansar como não descansava à tempos, e estar na Casa da Urze fez isso ser ainda mais especial, eu e meu marido fomos bem cuidados, a casa é uma delicia de estar, com uma vista linda e um espaço que faz relaxar imenso. "It was a wonderful, unique experience. The Casas do Rio are great, very comfortable and a stunning landscape... The day we spent with our guide Antonio was full of learning and discovery of beautiful sites. The food was all very good, mainly in Fajão, at restaurant O Pascoal, traditional food, great portions and high quality. I recommend it to everybody who likes nature and wants a quiet and beautiful place for the whole family or for a couple. Many thanks to Claudia, who took care of everything for me and to her husband and our guide Antonio."

"A wonderful property in a magical location, there is no other way to describe it.
The house is super comfortable and has everything you need for a short (or longer) stay. Up and downstairs, plenty of space and being able to have meals outside under the vines made it so much more special.
The village is a maze of alleyways and paths with lots of lovely neighbours, beautifully restored properties and a little creek running down the middle.
It is easily accessible by car - if you know where to go :-) We found about 4 different ways into the village across our five day stay. Some more direct than others, as GPS can be a little tricky here. If you have a car, make sure it's a small one.
All up, just wonderful.

"We had an excellent time at Sete Quintas. Excellent host, both regarding the lodging and the tips for outdoor activities. Amazing breakfast, with many local products such as fruit and cheese."

"Não obstante nos terem trocado a Casa do Moinho pela Casa da Ribeira (igual em dimensão), a experiência foi bastante agradável. É um sítio sossegado e calmo, com a praia fluvial de Açude Pinto mesmo ali ao lado.
O bungalow tem o necessário para se poder cozinhar, e tem áreas de lazer interior e exterior. Tem ar condicionado nos quartos e sala, o que refresca em dias quentes, e, acreditamos, aqueça em dias frios.
Para repetir! "
