"Thanks for the wonderful stay in Pampilhosa da Serra and special thanks to the excellent staff of the Villa Pampilhosa Hotel and the chef and the whole team at the Buke restaurant. We had an excellent, relaxing stay. We loved the room, the cleanliness, the quiet, the wonderful SPA circuit and the robes and towels thoughtfully provided for enjoyment of the Turkish bath, sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pool. The hotel staff helped us plan our visit to the aldeias de xisto, river beaches and the Santa Luzia reservoir we managed to see everything in a single day. The meals at the hotel were also wonderful as were the breakfasts. We really want to go back, mainly for the friendly people and the peace and quiet. Congratulations. Thank you. "

"The houses are immaculate, they have all the necessary facilities, heating, air conditioning, excellent beds. The area is idyllic with the river beach, Antonio is charming. The only problem is the roads that really need improving. But the Schist Villages are worth a visit. The 2017 fire disaster was a great pity, but the people are lovely and it is worth visiting for that alone, we will go back for sure."
