"Thanks for the wonderful stay in Pampilhosa da Serra and special thanks to the excellent staff of the Villa Pampilhosa Hotel and the chef and the whole team at the Buke restaurant. We had an excellent, relaxing stay. We loved the room, the cleanliness, the quiet, the wonderful SPA circuit and the robes and towels thoughtfully provided for enjoyment of the Turkish bath, sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pool. The hotel staff helped us plan our visit to the aldeias de xisto, river beaches and the Santa Luzia reservoir we managed to see everything in a single day. The meals at the hotel were also wonderful as were the breakfasts. We really want to go back, mainly for the friendly people and the peace and quiet. Congratulations. Thank you. "

"Adoramos tudo! O alojamento, a experiência gastronómica (a do Chef Diogo mas, ao seu jeito, as outras também), o concerto do Mário Laginha, o convívio com outros clientes deste programa. Interessante conhecer a aldeia (fantasma) do Colcurinho e da Igreja Nossa Senhora das Preces (um tesouro escondido e que merecia visibilidade!). "

"Comfortable home, nicely decorated, with a log burner for warmth. The silence is only broken by the stream outside and the birdsong. Everything invites you to rest and get back to nature. We walked round the village, we went to the oven and the fountain, we went along the Cascatas trail, which was very beautiful and well-marked, we walked on the Penedo Furado walkway, and sample the cod dishes at the Vila de Rei food festival. We could not have felt more welcomed by the friendly couple who made us feel completely at home. D. Benvinda made a couple of lovely cakes, one sponge and the other coconut, and a warm cornbread loaf that was just delightful with butter... We put on a few ounces... But it was worth it. It was a shame we couldn’t stay longer, but we left with the desire to return. A big thank you!"
